Refund policy

1. Returns Eligibility

You may return Goods We have delivered to You for any reason provided:

  • Returns must be requested via cellar@smallwonderwines.com.au within 7 days of delivery;
  • Goods must be in good order, unopened, in original condition, and stored correctly; and
  • Upon acknowledgement of receipt of the return request from us, we will provide you with a return label, and you must take the Goods to an Australia Post outlet to return them to us. Make sure your details are clearly marked on the carton.

2. Damaged or Faulty Products

If your wine is damaged in transit or has a fault, please contact us immediately with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

We’ll assess the claim and offer a replacement or refund.

3. Incorrect Orders

If you receive the wrong item, we’ll cover the return shipping and send the correct product at no extra cost.

4. Refunds

Upon receipt and validation of the returned Goods to Us, Your account will be credited or a new Order issued. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing.

5. Acknowledgement

You acknowledge...

  • Where Goods are returned to us without Our acknowledgement and approval, a Cancellation Fee may apply.
  • Old, cellared and back vintage wines are in excellent condition in terms of their cellaring history in our cellar. There is a risk inherent to handling such items, and the buyer must beware. You accept all losses ensuing from purchasing a tired or undrinkable old, cellared or back vintage wine. There is no guarantee of refund or replacement. Please note that We will never offer for sale any bottle that is suspected of being undrinkable for any reason.
  • No refund or return is available for wines more than seven days after delivery.
  • We cannot be held responsible for wine that is stored incorrectly.
